Hannah Rethamel has extensive experience in financial management and budgeting, currently serving as the Budget Manager at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) since May 2014. In this role, Hannah oversees budgetary responsibilities for both the MEDC and the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF). Previously, as a Financial Analyst for Community Incentive Programs at MEDC, Hannah focused on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, providing vital insights on budget, compliance, and financial management. Prior to this, Hannah worked for the State of Michigan as an Accountant in Federal Finance, managing federally funded grant programs and associated accounting activities. Hannah's career at MEDC began as an Accountant, and Hannah holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Grand Valley State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations & Development from Calvin University.
