Katelyn Crain, MBA, has a diverse work experience across various organizations and roles. Katelyn started their career as a Staff Reporter Intern for The Lake Orion Review in 2011. Katelyn then worked as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern for Mackinac State Historic Parks in 2012. From 2013 to 2016, they held multiple roles at Eisbrenner Public Relations, including Account Coordinator, Assistant Account Executive, and Account Executive. At Eisbrenner Public Relations, they managed client projects, handled media relations, performed social media audits, and developed new business proposals.

In 2013, Katelyn also worked as a Communications Intern for the West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology. From 2010 to 2013, they had roles as a News Reporter for the Torch Newspaper and a Resident Advisor at Ferris State University.

In 2016, Katelyn became a Communication Specialist for Ferris State University, where they worked until 2017. Katelyn then joined Sabo PR in 2017 as an Associate and was later promoted to Senior Associate, specializing in public relations.

More recently, Katelyn joined the Michigan Economic Development Corporation in 2019. Katelyn started as a Project Manager and then moved up to the position of Field Marketing and Operations Manager. Currently, they hold the role of Director, Field Marketing and Operations.

Katelyn Crain, MBA, has a diverse education history. Katelyn obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Project Management from Ferris State University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Technical Communication at the same university from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their formal education, Katelyn Crain also holds a certification as an Internet Marketing Fundamentals Trained Practitioner, which they obtained from Market Motive in March 2015.
