Kadi Prout

Kadi Prout is an accomplished professional in the field of child welfare, currently serving as the Associate Executive Director at the Michigan Federation for Children and Families since June 2009. In this role, Kadi collaborates with the Executive Director and team members to enhance organizational effectiveness, focusing on strategic planning and implementing the Federation's mission. Previous positions include Director of Child Welfare Policy, where Kadi engaged with legislators and conducted policy analysis, and Policy Analyst, advocating for improvements in child welfare services. Kadi also serves as Project Manager at the MSU School of Social Work, coordinating training on child welfare topics, and has experience as Program Coordinator at the MSU Kinship Care Resource Center. Educational credentials include an MSW in Organizational and Community Leadership from Michigan State University and a BSW in Social Work and Psychology from Central Michigan University.
