Naa Amissah-Hammond

Naa Amissah-Hammond is a seasoned professional in reproductive justice and equity, currently serving as Board Co-Chair and Board Member for Funders for Reproductive Equity and as Chief Strategy Officer at Groundswell Fund since July 2016. With extensive experience in grantmaking, Naa has led efforts that disburse significant funds to support women of color and trans people of color-led initiatives across the U.S. Previously, Naa held positions at Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice, Third Wave Fund, and Funders for LGBTQ Issues, showcasing a strong commitment to social justice and community organizing. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from New York University, with concentrations in Social and Cultural Analysis as well as Urban Design and Architecture Studies.
