Delonaka Edwards has extensive experience in the banking industry. Delonaka started their career at National City Bank in 1997 as an Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager and held this role until 2006. Delonaka then worked at Flagstar Bank as a Branch Manager in 2006 and transitioned to FirstMerit Bank in 2007, where they served as an Assistant Vice President/Branch Manager until 2014. In 2014, Delonaka joined Michigan First Credit Union and has since held several roles, including Sr. Business & Community Relations Representative, Administrative Support Manager, AVP Member Service Center, and AVP Eastern In-Store Branch Operations. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Operations Officer, responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the credit union and ensuring maximum member service and satisfaction.

Delonaka Edwards pursued their education in a systematic and progressive manner. Delonaka began their academic journey at Eastern Michigan University in 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication in 1999. After their undergraduate studies, they attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School until 2010, specializing in General Practice, Solo, and Small Firm Practice. Delonaka's educational history demonstrates their commitment to acquiring knowledge and expertise in different fields.
