Janet Barden

Janet Barden has extensive experience in the finance and banking industry. Janet currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Michigan First Credit Union since September 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of VP and CFO AAA Banking at AAA from June 2016 to September 2020. Janet also worked as EVP/CFO and Risk Manager at University Bank from June 2013 to April 2016. Janet has held senior financial roles at Orange Savings Bank, Beal Bank, Comerica Bank, Liberty Bank for Savings, and South Shore Savings Bank. Janet started their career at First of America bank as a SAG Loan Officer/Credit Analyst.

Janet Barden completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1986 to 1990, they attended the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Philosophy. Janet then pursued further education at Eastern Michigan University, where they enrolled from 1993 to 1998. During this period, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Accounting.
