Dave Sontag

Dave Sontag has extensive experience in sports and education, currently serving as the Baseball Coordinator at Legacy League Sports Complex since November 2022. Sontag is also an Educational Consultant at s3strategies since August 2015, while continuing to officiate basketball for the Michigan High School Athletic Association since 1980. As a Freelance Writer for the Monroe Evening News, Sontag focuses on high school athletics. In addition, Sontag has directed the Bases Loaded Diamond Academy since 2007 and was a Feature Writer for Prep Baseball Report from April 2012 to September 2023. Sontag's coaching experience includes serving as an assistant baseball coach at Saline High School from 2015 to 2018. With 33 years of experience in education, Sontag held roles as a teacher and guidance counselor at Jefferson Public Schools until retirement in 2015. Sontag earned a Master's degree in Counselor Education and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Secondary Education from The University of Toledo.
