Amanda Schwartz

Amanda Schwartz is a Staff Attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center since May 2021, focusing on unaccompanied immigrant children, community collaboration, outreach, legal screenings, and representation in removal proceedings. Previously, Amanda served as a Legal Intern at Greater Boston Legal Services from June 2019 to May 2020, assisting low-income residents with civil legal matters, including divorce, custody, domestic violence protections, and asylum cases. Amanda holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston University School of Law (2017-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Security, Norms and Cooperation from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (2013-2016).
