Elizabeth Sahouri

Elizabeth Sahouri is currently a legal intern at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center while pursuing a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, expected to complete in May 2024. As a law student since August 2021, Elizabeth has gained valuable legal experience, previously serving as a litigant liaison at the Greater Chicago Legal Clinic, Inc. and as an Amate House fellow, focusing on social justice and community service in under-resourced areas of Chicago. Prior to law school, Elizabeth worked as a technician at GREAT LAKES EYE INSTITUTE PC and graduated from Albion College in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology.
