Michigan Language Assessment
Evelyn Sebik is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and tutoring. Currently serving as a Rater in Michigan since February 2021 and as a Middle and High School English Teacher at Michigan Islamic Academy since August 2015, Evelyn has also taught as a Reading Teacher during the Summer Learning Experience at Washtenaw Community College. Prior experience includes working as an ELL Bilingual Tutor at Ann Arbor Public Schools and an English Teacher at SEV Middle School, where responsibilities encompassed ESL and Language Arts instruction, club sponsorship, and mentorship. Additionally, Evelyn has served as a Cambridge ESOL Oral Examiner for various organizations and holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Ann Arbor, complemented by other relevant qualifications in education and language studies.
