Ingrid Tighe

Ingrid Tighe is an experienced executive leader with a career that spans over two decades. In 2023, they became the President of the Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, where they lead approximately 75 employees in providing comprehensive solutions to small and medium-sized manufacturers throughout Michigan. From 2007 to 2020, they were the Founder of Spark Leadership, a consulting firm that teaches executive leadership and management skills. From 2020 to 2017, they served as the Director of Oakland County Economic Development, where they managed a 195-person team and a $30 million annual budget. From 2017 to 2013, they were the Executive Director of the Birmingham Shopping District, where they worked with over 700 businesses. From 2013 to 1998, they served as the Business Development and Workforce Development Manager for the State of Michigan. Finally, from 1998 to 2003, they were a Captain in the US Army Signal Corps, where they led 60 soldiers in Germany, Macedonia, Kosovo, and Baghdad, Iraq.

Ingrid Tighe obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Vanderbilt University between 1994 and 1998. In 2012 and 2013, they completed their Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) at the University of Michigan. In 2016, they were a Michigan Political Leadership Program Fellow at Michigan State University, studying Politics. Additionally, they obtained the Economic Development Finance Professional certification from the National Development Council.
