Jessica Weirauch

Jessica Weirauch has a diverse range of work experience. Jessica is currently the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Michigan Municipal League since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Events and Campaign Manager for the same organization from February 2022 to April 2023.

Before their current role, Jessica worked at the University of Michigan - Conference and Event Services for over a decade. Their roles included Interim Associate Director, Full-Service Conferences and Summer Operations from February 2020 to February 2022, Assistant Director from April 2017 to February 2022, Full-Service Conference and Summer Operations Manager from November 2014 to March 2017, Interim Assistant Director of Sales from April 2016 to December 2016, and Campus Events Coordinator at the Michigan League from November 2013 to November 2014.

Prior to their time at the University of Michigan, Jessica was a Meetings Coordinator at the Michigan Society of Association Executives from August 2012 to November 2013. Jessica also worked at Child and Family Charities as a Consulting Event Manager, Grant Writer, and Media Specialist from March 2012 to August 2012, and as a Development Intern from January 2012 to March 2012.

Further back in their career, Jessica was an Event Manager and Event Coordinator at SMG| Worldwide Entertainment & Convention Venue Management, specifically at the DeVos Place Convention Center. Jessica held these roles from November 2011 to February 2012 and from September 2009 to November 2011, respectively.

Jessica began their career as an Event Services Assistant at the DeVos Place Convention Center from January 2009 to May 2009. Jessica also has experience as a Recreation Technician at Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation from May 2008 to August 2008, and as a Program Coordinator at Menonaqua Beach Club from May 2007 to August 2007.

Jessica Weirauch attended Central Michigan University from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts (B.A.A.) degree in Commercial Recreation, Hospitality Services, and Event Management. In July 2020, they obtained a certification in Learning Zoom from LinkedIn.
