Beenish Ahmed

Beenish Ahmed is an experienced reporter currently working at Michigan Radio since January 2021. Prior to this role, Beenish served as a Spencer Fellow at Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism from September 2019 to August 2020, and as a reporter at WNYC Radio from October 2017 to May 2019. Beenish holds an MPhil in Modern South Asian Studies from the University of Cambridge, obtained in 2010, and a BA in Political Science, along with studies in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Michigan, completed in 2009.
