Joe Masters

Joe Masters is currently an Analyst at Michigan Sport Consulting Group and a Marketing Intern at the University of Michigan Athletics. Previously, Joe served as a Social Media Manager for Fordham Men's Basketball and gained experience in various roles such as a Host/Producer at WFUV Public Radio, Training Camp Intern at the Washington Commanders, and Beat Reporter/Contributing Sports Writer at The Fordham Ram. Joe has a Bachelor's degree in Digital Technology and Emerging Media, Business Administration from Fordham University and is pursuing a B.A. in Sport Management at the University of Michigan. Throughout their educational journey, Joe has also participated in various pre-college programs focusing on sports management, analytics, and business.

The Michigan Sport Consulting Group (MSCG) aids both early-stage companies and industry staples with growth strategy in new and exciting facets of the industry. Implementing and altering business plans during all steps of the process, from ideation to market strategies, is one of the pillars of the MSCG’s consulting model. Key areas of develop include: conceptual development, marketing plan implementation, sponsorship research, consumer surveys, engagement analytics, and database development.
