Harvey Van Blerkom is an incoming Private Wealth Management Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, beginning in May 2024. Currently, Harvey serves as a member of both the Michigan Sport Venture Group and the University of Michigan Sport Business Association. In leadership roles at Phi Beta Lambda at the University of Michigan, Harvey has held positions as President, Vice President of Internal Affairs, and External Relations Chair. Prior experience includes working as Head Counselor/Administrator at Camp Cedar, an intern at Big League Advantage, and serving as President of BBYO. Additionally, Harvey instructed skiing at Catamount Ski Area for several years. Harvey is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, expected to graduate in May 2026, and previously obtained a High School Diploma from LREI in 2022.

Guided by faculty support and insights from the Sport Management program, MSVG offers a unique platform for students to delve into the realm of sports entrepreneurship. MSVG emphasizes hands-on learning in key areas such as consumer research, venture capital, and product development. This approach empowers members to translate ideas into actionable plans, fostering the skills needed for successful entrepreneurial ventures in the sports sector.
