Eric Larson, MD, DNBPAS, serves as a board member for the Michigan State Medical Society since April 2021, representing Region 8. As the Anesthesia Director at Grand Valley Surgical Center since February 2021, Eric oversees anesthesia services for the outpatient surgical center. At Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, Eric has held the position of Clinical Assistant Professor since 2011. Additionally, Eric hosts The Paradocs Podcast, a weekly program that explores various medical topics through interviews with fellow physicians. Since November 2012, Eric has acted as a Medical Defense Expert Witness, specializing in anesthesiology for medical malpractice cases. Eric co-founded and serves as president of the Kent County Taxpayers Alliance, focusing on government transparency and accountability. Previous roles include Chairman of the APP Credentialing Committee at Spectrum Health and president of the Kent County Medical Society. Eric holds an MD from the University of Iowa and a BSE in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan.
