Silvia Dimma has had a successful career in human resources, with experience ranging from managerial positions to executive roles. Silvia began their career with HRU Technical Resources in 2000, where they served as the Human Resources Manager until 2002. Silvia then joined Albion College as the Director of Human Resources, a role they held for five years. In 2007, Dimma joined MSU Federal Credit Union as the Vice President of Human Resources, a position they held for eight years before being promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer in 2015. Overall, Silvia Dimma has demonstrated their expertise and commitment to the field of human resources through their various roles and positions.

Silvia Dimma has a diverse education history spanning various areas of focus. In 1992, they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business/HR from Algoma University. Following this, from 1998 to 2000, Silvia pursued post-diploma studies in Human Resources Management at Durham College.

In 1999, they enrolled at Brock University, where they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Adult Education in 2001. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2007, Silvia pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a concentration in Business at Aspen University.

Continuing their academic journey, Silvia pursued a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree in Human Resources Management at Walden University from 2013 to 2020. This advanced degree further solidified their expertise in the field.
