Eliza Hensel

Eliza Hensel is an accomplished environmental professional with experience in compost management and recycling coordination. Currently serving as Assistant Manager at The Urban Harvest since January 2022, Eliza previously held the role of Compost Manager at Eckerd College from August 2019 to the present, overseeing composting facilities and educating volunteers on compost science. Additionally, Eliza worked as Recycling Coordinator at Eckerd College, where responsibilities included training volunteers and managing recycling operations. Earlier experience includes an internship as an Estuary Education Intern at Tampa Bay Watch from January to May 2019. Eliza holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Animal Studies from Eckerd College, earned in May 2022.
