Kathleen Fitzpatrick

Kathleen Fitzpatrick is an accomplished academic leader currently serving as the Interim Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Studies and Director of Digital Humanities at Michigan State University since August 2017. Prior to this, Fitzpatrick held key positions at the Modern Language Association from July 2011 to August 2017, where responsibilities included directing scholarly communication initiatives and developing digital engagement programs. Additionally, Fitzpatrick was a Professor of Media Studies at Pomona College from July 1998 to June 2013, contributing to the foundation of the Department of Media Studies and coordinating the Media Studies Program. Fitzpatrick holds a Doctor of Philosophy in English and American Literature from New York University and a Master of Fine Arts in English from Louisiana State University.
