Maryam Goudarzi

Maryam Goudarzi is a Tenured Associate Professor and Director of the Metabolomics Core at Michigan State University, a role commenced in August 2024. Goudarzi has served on the Board of the Metabolomics Association of North America and holds the position of Vice President since August 2017. Prior experience includes Associate Director at Charles River Laboratories (February 2023 - July 2024), Senior Manager of Metabolomics & Lipidomics at SCIEX (January 2022 - February 2023), Adjunct Assistant Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (May 2017 - January 2022), and Senior Project Scientist at Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute (January 2017 - January 2022). Additional roles include Assistant Professor and Research Faculty at Georgetown University Medical Center (February 2011 - January 2017) and Postdoctoral Fellow in Metabolomics at George Mason University (2007 - 2011). Goudarzi earned a PhD in Chemistry and Biochemistry from George Mason University (2006 - 2010).
