Matthew Mitchell

Matthew Mitchell is an accomplished photography professional with extensive experience spanning nearly two decades. As the owner of Matthew Mitchell Photography since 2005, Matthew has honed expertise in various photography niches. Matthew serves as the Head Athletics Communications Photographer at Michigan State University since March 2008, capturing pivotal athletic moments. In addition, Matthew has contributed as a freelance photographer for both SPORT, The Greater Lansing Sports Magazine since 2010, and Greater Lansing Business Monthly since 2012. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising/Public Relations with a focus in Photography from Grand Valley State University, where studies were completed from 1997 to 2001. Matthew's foundational education includes graduating from Catholic Central High School in 1997.
