Mike Nauta II

Mike Nauta II is an experienced Cyber Security Analyst at Michigan State University since May 2015, previously serving as a Sr. Systems Security Engineer at Vertafore from August 2002 to April 2015. Notable contributions at Vertafore include the deployment and administration of Checkpoint and Cisco firewalls, as well as technical expertise in various security tools. Mike began a career in security at Jacobson's Inc, where responsibilities expanded from mainframe operations to the company's first dedicated security position. This included designing and deploying security solutions for a 1200-node client network and assisting in pioneering wireless Point of Sale systems.
