Sunia Tanweer

Sunia Tanweer is a dedicated researcher and engineer currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Solid Mechanics at Michigan State University. As a Graduate Research Assistant, Sunia applies concepts from algebraic topology to address challenges in stochastic dynamical systems and time series data. Previous experience includes a role as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Engro Corp, where Sunia contributed to the maintenance of the Haber-Bosch Ammonia plant, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wyoming, where project work involved developing material subroutines for hyperelasticity models. Sunia has also held positions such as Design Intern, Webmaster, and Student Vice Chair, fostering technical skills and leadership in various engineering environments. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology and additional coursework at the University of Wyoming and Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
