Teresa Clark Powell

Teresa Clark Powell, CPA, CGMA, is an experienced financial professional with a diverse background in finance and accounting spanning several decades. Currently serving in Financial Administration at Michigan State University since July 2016, Teresa has previously held finance roles at General Motors and TK Holdings, where leadership included mentoring across accounting, tax, treasury, and audit functions for the Americas. Notable accomplishments encompass the relocation of corporate offices and the outsourcing of transactional activities. Teresa's extensive experience includes significant positions at Delphi, where responsibilities ranged from corporate reporting and analysis to consolidating reports during the company's emergence from bankruptcy. Additional roles included various managerial positions at SPX Corporation, EG&G Technical Services, Taco Bell, Kmart, and KPMG. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Finance Management from Walsh College and a BSBA in Accounting and Journalism from Central Michigan University.
