Young Hyun Cho

Young Hyun Cho serves as an Associate Professor of Piano at Michigan State University since August 2017, where teaching encompasses one-on-one applied lessons, group piano sessions in a digital keyboard lab, and courses in piano pedagogy and literature. Prior to this role, Young Hyun Cho was an Associate Professor of Piano at the University of Texas at Arlington from September 2008 to August 2017. Educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music, a Graduate Performance Diploma and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Seoul National University. Young Hyun Cho is also an accomplished performer, engaging in solo recitals, orchestral performances, and chamber music across a diverse repertoire.
