Julieta Carrillo

Julieta Carrillo is a Senior Molecular Biologist at Michroma since June 2022 and an Entrepreneur at ELINIKA ecotienda since July 2020, where the focus is on transforming consumption habits through a line of natural cosmetics made from sustainable, plant-based, or mineral ingredients. Julieta served as an Adjunct Professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina in 2022 and was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Rosario from April 2018 to November 2020, contributing to research on starch metabolism in microalgae. Prior to that, Julieta was a Doctoral Researcher at CEFOBI, CONICET, from April 2013 to March 2018, where the doctoral thesis emphasized the analysis of key enzymes involved in starch degradation. Julieta Carrillo holds a Doctorate in Biological Sciences and a degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Nacional de Rosario.
