SONYA MITCHUM

Sonya Mitchum has over 30 years of experience in management and business development. SONYA started their career at Bellwright Manufacturing in 1985 and worked there for 32 years as a manager. In 2017, they joined Pegasus Steel as Director of Business Development and stayed there for four years until 2021. SONYA then moved to Craft Machine Works and Automated Machine Technology (AMTECH) as Business Development Manager, where they worked for a year until 2022. Currently, they are working as the Director of Outside Sales at MICOR Industries LLC, starting in August 2022.

Sonya Mitchum earned an Associate's degree in Business from Southern Wesleyan University in 1999. SONYA later received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the same university in 2017. Mitchum has also earned several certifications, including Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS in 2011, C.P.M. from the Institute for Supply Management - Carolinas-Virginia in 2002, and a Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1998.
