Rhodri Bevan has extensive experience in research and development, with a focus on data science, machine learning, and software development. Rhodri is currently working as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at Micrima Limited, where they are involved in developing detection methodologies for breast cancer using radar technology. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Bristol from 2013 to 2021, starting as a Research Assistant in Numeric Simulation and Optimisation and later transitioning to the role of Senior Research Associate. There, they contributed to various projects, including the development of simulation tools for training data generation and the optimization framework for vortex generator design. Their work in software development led to notable improvements in performance. Before joining the University of Bristol, Rhodri worked as a Research Assistant at Swansea University from 2010 to 2013.
Rhodri Bevan's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at Swansea University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Rhodri successfully completed their Master of Engineering - MEng program in 2005.
