Kim Hamilton has a solid and extensive background in software engineering and testing, with a focus on customer support in the public safety sector. Kim started their career at Colorado Data Systems as a Test Engineer in 1985. Kim then joined Tektronix as a Test Engineer in 1989 before moving on to Micro Control Company as a Software Engineering Manager in 1995. Kim spent 14 years at Micro Control Company, during which they held various roles and eventually became the Director of Software Engineering. In 2009, they joined Locution Systems Inc as a Technical Analyst IV, where they developed software and provided customer support for fire station alerting. Kim later worked at Aventura as a Test Software Developer / BuildMaster before returning to Micro Control Company as a Software Engineer in 2013. In January 2021, they were promoted to the role of Director of Software Engineering at Micro Control Company.
Kim Hamilton attended Northeast Community College from 1983 to 1985, during which they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study.
