Nicolas Voirol

Nicolas Voirol is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in hardware development and management within the electronics and watch industries. Currently serving as the Oscillator Department Manager at Micro Crystal AG since January 2022, Nicolas oversees significant projects in oscillator technology. Previously, Nicolas worked at ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse from January 2018 to January 2022, where roles included Team Leader for Electronic Development and Hardware Group, managing teams focused on developing cost-effective and low-power electronic solutions for quartz and connected watches. Nicolas's earlier career at Oscilloquartz SA spanned nearly two decades, culminating in the role of R&D Director, where responsibilities included system architecture definition and leading R&D teams for various projects. Nicolas holds a degree in Software Engineering from the Engineering School of St-Imier, received between 1993 and 1996.
