Edward Serafin

Edward Serafin has worked in the IT security industry since 2009. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Information Security Consultant at S&A Technologies. Edward then served as an IT Security Specialist at Landmark Multimedia and an InfoSec Instructor at Higher Education Technologies in 2014. In the same year, they also worked as an Independent IT Consultant/Contractor, providing Cybersecurity Consultancy services. From 2015 to 2019, they served as a Director of Security and Senior Security Engineer at iconectiv. Currently, they are the Chief of Security at Micro Strategies Inc., where they are responsible for all internal and external offensive/defensive security matters and activities. Edward has also implemented a training and mentoring program to provide the operational support the teams need.

Edward Serafin obtained their Certified IT Specialist degree from Higher Education Technologies in 2015. Edward also holds seven additional certifications, including an Insider Threat Hunting certification from Black Hat obtained in August 2019, MTA: Windows Operating Systems and MTA: Windows Server Administration from Microsoft obtained in June 2015, MTA: Security from Microsoft obtained in February 2015, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council obtained in May 2015, A Plus CE from CompTIA obtained in February 2015, and Network Plus CE from CompTIA obtained in February 2015.
