Andrew Porter

Andrew Porter is a Design Verification Engineer II at Microaire Surgical Instruments since May 2022, where responsibilities include leading design verification efforts for regulatory submissions and coordinating cell viability studies. Previously, Andrew served as an Athletic Communications Intern for the University of Virginia Athletics Department from August 2019 to May 2022, managing live game statistics across various sports and submitting data to the NCAA. Additionally, a brief internship as a Biomedical Engineer Intern at Piedmont Healthcare involved performing service checks on medical imaging machines and assisting in equipment maintenance. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Virginia, earned in 2022.
