Carlos Bird has extensive experience in quality assurance and engineering within the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Engineer at Microaire Surgical Instruments since March 2015, Carlos actively participates in departmental planning and supports new product development. Previous roles include Senior Validation Engineer at Beckman Coulter and Senior Quality Engineer at Cordis, focusing on validation protocols and risk management, respectively. Carlos also held the position of QA Manager at International Medical Industries Inc, overseeing quality control and regulatory affairs, and served as Director of Manufacturing Operations at Pall Life Sciences, managing a substantial operation while ensuring compliance and quality standards. Early career positions with Warner Lambert and Baxter International involved responsibilities in manufacturing operations and sanitation processes. Carlos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
