Randy Thomas has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Randy started their career in 1997 as a Product Marketing Manager at Comdial, where they led product development efforts and managed product lifecycle. From 2003 to 2009, they served as a Continuous Improvement Manager at Modine Manufacturing Company, overseeing lean manufacturing initiatives, mentoring project teams, and leading Six Sigma projects. In 2009, they joined McQuay International as a Manufacturing Engineer. Since 2013, they have been working at Microaire Surgical Instruments, starting as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and progressing to the roles of Sustaining Engineering Manager and Director of Manufacturing Engineering. Overall, Randy Thomas has a strong background in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, and product development.

Randy Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering, which they obtained from Virginia Tech between the years 1988 and 1991. Following this, Randy pursued further education and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at James Madison University from 1998 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Randy has also obtained several certifications, including "Finding and Retaining High Potentials" and "Hire, Retain, and Grow Top Millennial Talent" from LinkedIn, in September and June 2022 respectively. Randy also acquired the "Negotiation Skills" certification from LinkedIn in August 2020.
