Microban International
Brian Owen has over 30 years of work experience, starting in 1990. Brian currently holds the position of Vice President of Global Supply Chain at Microban International, where they are responsible for overseeing the company's global operations and supply chain. Prior to their current role, Brian worked as the Head of Global Supply Chain at Microban International. Brian also has extensive experience at AkzoNobel, where they held various roles including Leader Strategy Deployment Houston, Director of Operations (Personal Care), sBU Director Global Operations (Elotex), and Operations Manager (Elotex AP). Additionally, Brian has worked at National Starch & Chemical (ICI) as Operations Manager, Hot Melt Superintendent, and Production Superintendent. Brian also worked at National Starch & Chemical (Unilever) as Assistant Production Superintendent and Technical Shift Supervisor.
Brian Owen earned their B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they attended from 1985 to 1990. Brian then pursued an MBA degree at the Wake Forest University School of Business from 1996 to 1999, specializing in Masters in Business Administration. Additionally, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from ICI National Starch & Chemical in December 2006.
