Jonathan Clapp

Jonathan Clapp is a seasoned professional in polymer engineering with extensive experience in product design and development across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Senior Technical Manager for Microban International since June 2016, Jonathan previously held the role of Technical Manager at Microban Europe Ltd from April 2008 to May 2016. Prior positions include Chief Polymer Engineer at AlphaGary Ltd., where responsibilities encompassed the development of TPE compounds and wire & cable sheathing, and Senior Technologist at Laporte AlphaGary, focusing on PVC compounds. Jonathan began a career in the industry as a Technologist at Evode Plastics, specializing in flexible PVC and TPE footwear compounds. Jonathan holds a BEng in Polymer Science and Technology from De Montfort University.
