Jim Durkin has led the Blommer organization, including Safety, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Product Supply since 2016. Accomplishments include supporting the marketing and sale of the family company to Fuji Oil out of Osaka, Japan in 2019. Jim is currently working with Fuji to establish industry best practices across all functional areas.
Prior to joining Bloomer, Jim spent 32 years with Kraft Foods out of Northfield, IL where he held multiple positions, including leading Global Engineering and managing a Biscuit factory. He spent 19 years of his career at Kraft as a member of six different executive teams. From 2006 to 2013 Jim led the Kraft Cheese & Dairy Integrated Supply Chain organization responsible for the end-to-end supply chain. Prior to departing Kraft, Jim was leading the Oscar Mayer Integrated supply chain with a focus on restructuring the manufacturing operations.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University. In addition to Micro board, Jim serves on the board of the family-owned Community Coffee Company out of Baton Rouge, LA.
