Fardin Saiidi

Fardin Saiidi is an accomplished director with extensive experience in the semiconductor and automotive industries. Currently serving as the Director of Product Development for the Automotive Information Systems Business Unit at Microchip Technology Inc. since April 2012, Fardin oversees various engineering functions, achieving significant quality improvements. Previously, Fardin held senior leadership roles at SMSC, managing operations and product test engineering, and contributed to the establishment of semiconductor services as a co-founder. The career began at Crystal Semiconductor and Cirrus Logic, where Fardin managed engineering teams focused on mixed signal devices. Fardin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Texas State University.
