Hormoz Djahanshahi

Hormoz Djahanshahi is an experienced engineer specializing in mixed-signal development, currently serving as an Associate Fellow at Microchip Technology Inc. since July 2019, following a role as Senior Technical Staff Engineer. Prior to that, Djahanshahi worked at Microsemi Corporation from January 2016 to July 2019, holding positions including Senior Principal Engineer and Principal Engineer. Djahanshahi's career began at PMC-Sierra, where a tenure from November 1999 to December 2015 included titles such as Principal Engineer and Leader of Mixed-Signal Development. Early professional experience includes a role as Senior R&D Engineer at Fajr Microprocessor Co. Djahanshahi holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Windsor (1993-1997), and completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Toronto (1997-1999). Djahanshahi also earned both a Master of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic (1988-1990 and 1984-1988, respectively).
