Rich Woicik

Rich Woicik is a Senior Design Engineer at Microchip Technology Inc., where responsibilities include the design, verification, and characterization of ultra-low-power wireless transceiver integrated circuits since 2006. Prior to this role, Rich served as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Synergy Microsystems / Curtiss Wright from 2001 to 2006, focusing on the design and verification of embedded computers and interfaces tailored for air- and conduction-cooled VME and PMC products utilizing PowerPC processors and operating systems such as Linux and VxWorks. Earlier in Rich's career, from 1986 to 2001, the position of Member Technical Staff at L-3 Communications included the design and verification of telemetry ground system hardware components and program/project management for customized telemetry systems. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University, earned between 1978 and 1980.
