Mark Palmeri

Mark Palmeri is a Professor of the Practice in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University Pratt School of Engineering since October 2020. With a comprehensive background at Duke University that began in July 2007, Mark Palmeri holds multiple roles including Director of BME Design Fellows, Associate Research Professor in Anesthesiology, and previously served as Assistant Research Professor in Biomedical Engineering and Anesthesiology as well as Associate Professor of the Practice in Biomedical Engineering. Additionally, Mark Palmeri has been the Chief Scientific Advisor at MicroElastic Ultrasound Systems since 2017. Mark Palmeri's academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University Pratt School of Engineering, earned between 2002 and 2005, a BS in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 2000, and an MD from Duke University School of Medicine, received in 2007.
