Bdour Alhyari's work experience starts in 2006 at the American Bar Association, where they worked as a Translator and Project Assistant until 2009. Bdour then joined the Civil Society Program (CSP) at the Academy for Educational Development, where they worked as a Project Translator from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they moved to New Tactics in Human Rights, first working as a Senior Translator and Project Associate, and then as the MENA Initiative Officer until 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they worked at New Tactics in Human Rights - Center for Victims of Torture as a Senior Outreach and Partnership Officer. In 2014, they joined the Microfund for Women as a Business Development Supervisor until 2015. Bdour then became the Business Development and Research Manager from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development at Microfund for Women, a role they have held since 2019.

Bdour Alhyari obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Jordan from 2007 to 2009. In 2019, they received a certificate in Digital Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in areas such as Gender Data Driving Business Decisions, Data Science for Business, and the 2021 Women Advancing Leadership Program.
