Norman Bates

Norman Bates began their career in 1988 as a Corporate Auditor for GE Corporate Audit Staff. In 1992, they moved to GE as a Manager Plant Financial Operations, where they directed financial operations and provided financial leadership to plant staff. In 1994, they became a Finance Manager for Power Management and Appliance Motors at GE. In 1997, they joined Kinetek as the SVP of Business Development and CFO. In 2010, they became President and COO of Merkle-Korff Industries, a Nidec Company. In 2017, they became President of KASCO LLC, a global manufacturer of blade products for the meat, food, and wood cutting industries. In 2016, they became an Executive Consultant for ThinkFCM & Others, and in the same year they became President, CFO, and Manufacturing | M&A | Business Strategy for Custom Engineered Solutions I B2B I Global Manufacturing. In 2020, they became President and CEO of Micron Industries Corporation.

Norman Bates attended Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania from 1980 to 1984, where they earned a BSBA in Accounting. Norman also completed two GE Executive Leadership Programs.
