Alexander H.

Alexander H. is a Principal ASIC Design Engineer at Micron, where they design custom SOCs to implement SSDs and emulate non-volatile storage systems. With extensive experience in ASIC design, Alexander has worked from specification to layout timing closure, specializing in LDPC encoder/decoder design and system verification methodology. They have held key roles at companies such as SandForce and ATI, contributing to the development of critical semiconductor technologies. Alexander holds over seven patents in error correction and compression for flash and video processors and has successfully shipped millions of chips across various platforms. They obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University focused on ASIC design and test.
