Hamid Ghasemi is an Advanced Modeling Engineer and Data Scientist at Micron Technology, specializing in process and structure modeling, predictive and prescriptive multiscale simulations, and software development since April 2022. Previously, Hamid served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Howard University from August 2017 to December 2022, focusing on multiscale modeling of polymer composites, atomistic simulations, and physics-informed machine learning, and also held roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Lead Mentor, providing engineering education and mentorship to high school students. Hamid's early experience includes an internship with the U.S. Global Change Research Program and a strong academic background with a PhD in Civil Engineering from Howard University, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Imam Khomeini International University.
