Jai-Hoon Sim

Jai-hoon Sim is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in DRAM technology development, holding a PhD and BS in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. Currently serving as Principal Design Engineer at Micron Technology since June 2022, Jai-hoon has previously worked as an Executive Engineer at Nanya Technology and as Director at Elite Semiconductor Memory Technology, where leadership was demonstrated by building a DRAM design team and delivering LPDDR2 products for mass production. Additional roles include pioneering body contacted 4F2 cell structures at SK hynix, leading eDRAM technology development at TSMC, and involvement in significant advancements at IBM and Samsung Electronics. Over the years, Jai-hoon has consistently contributed to technology innovations in the semiconductor field.
