Song Jian Chen

Song Jian Chen is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of SSD Firmware Development at Micron since November 2014, Song leads a firmware development team in China. Previously, Song held the position of Senior Manager for Storage Software Development at International Business Machines from June 2008 to November 2014, overseeing the High-End Storage Software Development and Test Team. Earlier career roles include Software Manager and Software Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, focusing on optical transmission systems, and a Software Engineer at 中兴, developing embedded software for wireless access networks. Song holds a Master's degree in Communication System and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
