Hans Bouwes

Hans Bouwes has extensive experience in the fields of MEMS technology and microfluidics, currently serving as Lead Engineer at Micronit since April 2016, where responsibilities include managing new technology projects and providing technical support to R&D engineers. Prior to this role, Hans held positions such as Senior Technical Account Manager and Technical Manager, focusing on technical sales and project management. Previously, as CTO at iX-factory GmbH, Hans led the R&D team and managed customer projects while also driving business development. Early career experience includes roles as an Application Engineer at PhoeniX BV and R&D Engineer at Micronit Microfluidics, alongside a position as Process Engineer at the University of Twente. Hans holds a Master’s Degree in Micro and Nano Technology from FH Kaiserslautern and an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
