Laura Folkertsma-Hendriks

Laura Folkertsma-Hendriks is a seasoned researcher and technology leader currently serving as a Senior Scientist and Project Lead Reader at Micronit since April 2022. In parallel, Laura holds the position of Chief Technology Officer and Project Lead for Reader Development at Salvitat since April 2021. Previous experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Twente and UMC Utrecht from June 2012 to April 2019, focused on enhancing wearable artificial kidney devices. Additionally, Laura completed a PhD at the University of Twente, where responsibilities included microfluidic chip design and data analysis. Academic credentials also include a Master's Degree in Physical Chemistry and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Radboud University, alongside a tenure as a Visiting Graduate Student at Harvard University in 2011-2012.
