Emily McLendon has a diverse work experience with a focus on product development engineering in the orthopedics industry. Emily started their career at Crossroads of America Volleyball as a Volleyball Coach from January 2014 to April 2015. In June 2014, they joined Lexington Veteran Affairs Medical Center as a Biomedical Engineer Intern and worked there until August 2016. McLendon then transitioned to Zimmer Biomet in July 2017, where they served as a Development Engineer, primarily focusing on Hips, until April 2019. Currently, they are working at MicroPort Orthopedics, where they started as a Product Development Engineer in May 2019 and has now advanced to the role of Sr. Product Development Engineer since August 2022.
Emily McLendon earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Emily completed their education in four years, from 2013 to 2017.
